Sam the Koala, a global superstar survives the the bush fires.
February 11th, 2009
“Sam the Koala” is now a Global Star creating smiles to Australians all around. . at a time where we all need to find smiles wherever we can.
Sam the Koala was found By CFA firefighters in Mirboo North, Victoria, Australia a few days ago.
She is a survivor of the devastating bush fires in Australia which killed hundreds of people, houses and an extreme amount of native animals (TBD).
Sam is now a patient at the “Mountain Ash Wildlife Shelter” in Rawson, Victoria.
She is going to be fine, although her paws are badly burnt and she is very traumatized.
Sam already has a potential boyfriend who has been cuddling her and comforting her as best he can. His name is Bob.
Truly a miracle that Sambo and Bob survived.
The video of the CFA VOLUNTEER firefighter and Australian icon “David Tree” approaching the little girl has had almost had a quarter of a million hits since it went up on youtube, less than 24 hours ago!! The footage shot on a mobile phone is truly amazing.
I set up the first facebook group for her earlier, and I encourage all to join by clicking this link - Sam the Koala Bush Fire Survivor.
I also have a great idea, and I am hoping it actually happens! The water company which Sambo drank 3 bottles of should “realatize” a campaign with Sam in it.
All of the money should go back to the millions of animals that perished in the fires.
Here are some recent photos of Sam, the amazing little girl who has been a god send of hope to a country in turmoil.
