I am so happy to be writing this, this is a start and hopefully Canada follows suit immediately.

Baby seals are safe from being massacred in Russia, as the country announced Wednesday that it had banned hunting the animals. The announcement came weeks after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin called it a “bloody industry”.  Anti-seal hunting protesters had gathered in 20 cities and towns across Russia this week to urge a halt to the practice.

As an additional fun little f*cked up fact - Did you know that The Canadian Seal Hunt Is The Largest Slaughter of Marine Animals on Earth? I also read that there is not such a high demand for seal fur anymore.

I hate all Canadians who are involved in this, and I know HATE is a very strong word but this is how strongly I am against what is going on.. just like millions of other people around the world.
