Assaulted by a Doctor’s receptionist
January 26th, 2009
This story is so unbelievable that I have to write about it.
An hour ago I had an appointment with a Doctor on Park Avenue and 33rd Street, specifically www.nyrehab.com. It was my first time as a patient.
Twenty minutes past my appointment time, a distraught lady dashes in talking quiet loudly “I have a bone to pick with the Doctor, where is he?” I did not really hear the rest of the conversation between the lady and the Doctor, but for whatever reason the Doctor ushered her into his room at speed.
The receptionist then told me a range of things “bad luck”, “good-bye, good-bye, good-bye” and that they had to cancel my appointment, because of the other lady walking in with her issues. She was very very rude and mean.
As you can imagine this turned into a heated argument. I ended up saying “f*ck this” while I was walking out the door. The receptionist did not like this at all and jumped up from her desk and chased after me. Mind you this lady 66 years old. She was right in my face saying stuff like “no you didn’t” which led to her pushing me and punching me?? Mind you, I was at the top of a flight of stairs and easily could have fallen down them. The woman was a lunatic.
And honestly I was rowdy in my day and I would have definitely punched her back, kicked her in the head and landed her straight on her back except that the lady was a lot older than me and I just was not going to go there.
This afternoon in New York City I was assaulted by a crazy, mental and demented woman and this is my story for today. Tomorrow I am hoping that my trip to the dentist is way easier.
