We are familiar with Torquay right? Home of the Bells Beach Easter Surf Pro Classic, famed from the movie Point Break and now Home to Rex the Wonder Dog.

Let’s go to my home state of Victoria in Australia for this vibe.

Recently Rex the Wonder Dog was taking a walk with his human Mum when they came across a dead kangaroo on the side of the road…..

This is not uncommon, it is very much the same sad sight of seeing beautiful deers lying on the side of New York Roads.

Later on in the day Rex decided to take a wander back to the scene of the crime for further investigation. He sniffed the Mum’s pouch and gently pulled out (with his teeth) a 4 month old baby Joey (baby kangaroo). Rex then carried the Joey back to his house and showed his find to his Human Mum.

The Little Joey now named Rex Junior was jumping up on Rex the Wonder Dog sniffing and licking him just like the best of friends.

Rex Junior the Baby Bush Kangaroo is now in the loving hands of the Jirrahlinga Wildlife Sanctuary, when he turns 18 months old he will be released back into the wild.

Rex is a credit to his owners who have brought him up properly. He has been taught to be tolerant of all wildlife who skip through the property on which he lives. Working and spending time with your animals in a responsible way will ensure you have animals that make you proud and may one day just do something like this.
