Beware of the Australian DROP BEARS!!
February 22nd, 2008
So while I am on the Australian wildlife vibe, let’s investigate another question I get asked a lot:
Are Drop Bears Real???? The answer is - OF COURSE DROP BEARS ARE REAL AND IF YOU SEE ONE RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOUR LITTLE LEGS CAN CARRY YOU.
Tourism is a booming industry in Australia, thus little is published on the Drop Bear for fear it will deter internationals from visiting the land DownUnder.
Drop Bear involvement conspiracies range from the Famous disappearance of Australian baby Azaria Chamberlain, to the disappearance of a group of cross-country skiers, and the deaths of a number of hikers, canoeists, 4WDrivers, campers, sunbathers on the Eastern side of Australia.
Drop Bears are relatives of the marsupial Koala Bear, except Drop Bears are way bigger and have razor like claws and teeth!!! To make it easier to understand let’s just say that the Drop Bear is the Koala Bear’s evil twin.
Drop Bears live in eucalyptus trees, dropping to the ground only when it is necessary to feed. They feed by falling down on top of their prey, usually instantly knocking the victim unconscious.
Drop Bears are carnivorous obviously, not like koalas who are strict strict vegans.
Drop Bears are really scary, one attacked me when I was a little girl. It dropped right on to my head making this hideous pitching sound. I managed to get away but I still have a scar on my shoulder from where the little Bugger scratched me.
